Welcome Message from WCMISST 2016 President

Dear Colleagues,

I extend my most sincere welcome to all attendees of 5th World congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Techniques at International Convention Center Jeju in Jeju Island, Korea from June, 1st to 4th, 2016.

5th WCMISST is cooperated with 15th Symposium of Korean Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (KOMISS) and 5th Asian Congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (ACMISS).

As in the past, 5th WCMISST will continue developing MIS techniques and technologies and enhance strong relationships of colleagues under international MISS society.

I hope it will give you a chance to interact with other doctors from different countries, share your great ideas with them and broaden your knowledge on endoscopic spine procedures by various program such as cadaver workshop, live surgery and hands on workshop, etc.

You will also be able to have the cutting edge knowledge and new trends of any MISS including various new endoscopic techniques, epiduroscopic techniques, robotic surgery, 3D printing technique & navigation.

For the successful meeting, we will invite all the representative MISS doctors in the world!
Your passion for learning new knowledge will make big difference in our spine filed and in our world.

Welcome Message from the Scientific Program Committee Chairman

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to attend the WCMISST '16, to be held at the ICC Jeju in the beautiful Jeju Island, Korea, June 1-4, 2016. The Scientific Committee of WCMISST 2016 would like to invite all the spine surgeons around the world who have interests in minimally invasive spinal surgeries and various interventional techniques to participate in the upcoming WCMISST '16. The superb programs are packed with plenary and main lectures, debates, case panels, and video sessions provided by world best faculties in minimally invasive spinal surgery. All the members are grateful to be able to participate and join the other prestigious spine societies in this wonderful 5th international meeting. This meeting will bring the latest update and cutting edge on spine care education, research and innovation focused on minimally invasive spinal treatments. It will also provide us with the opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas with world-top class expert surgeons from the whole over the world. WCMISST '16 will provide a platform for all spine surgeons having interests in MISS to contribute to the advancement of the global spine care by sharing not only evidence but their experience and research especially with regard to the spine problems.

Welcome Message from the Scientific Program Committee International Chairman

Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the 5th World Congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Techniques on Jeju Island, South Korea from June 1st through 4th 2016.

The World Congress, initiated in 2008 by Professor Sang-Ho Lee and held every 2 years since, has developed into the key event globally with regards to minimally invasive spinal surgery and associated technologies.

It is unique in that respect and it bridges countries, continents and specialties.

This meeting will bring together specialists from all over the world that share a common interest and a common passion: To advance minimally invasive spinal treatments, to exchange views and experiences, to learn from each other and from the different approaches that the various regions on this globe take.

The superb success of the previous meetings and most recently in Paris is well acknowledged in the community and the different committees of WCMISST 2016 are working tirelessly to continue in this tradition.

Being held on a stunning subtropical island off the Korean peninsula, the congress is centrally located in a region that is at the forefront of many surgical and technological innovations. So join us for the 5th WCMISST, participate, present, discuss and share!
